Knights & Bytes

Knights & Bytes is a special business set up in South Australia by Alan Goldsmith to promote chess to schools, groups and individuals. Our team teaches chess to students of all ages in many different schools, such as Grange PS, Linden Park PS, Westbourne Park PS, Star of the Sea, Pembroke School, Pulteney Grammar, Seymour College, Walford School,, Adelaide HS, St Peter’s College, Dara School, Unley PS and many others.

We love chess! We have been playing it for years and appreciate its beauty, logic and fun. We know it is beneficial to all who try it, regardless of their age, and we do everything we can to encourage people to play.

Our Shop is closed due to the Covid-19 Virus

Our coaching in the meanwhile will be done online – it is easy and fun – and we will be running Group Sessions for all ages and abilities. The Group size is limited to 8 students at a time. We can also do Individual coaching online – simply ring Alan on 0401 67 2481.

The cost per hour for individuals is $35 or if part of a group just $10 per hour.  Lots to learn for everyone.

We will be connecting for everyone using Zoom and either Chesskid.com or LiChess.org or chessclub.com or Chess.com. This may sound daunting but isn’t! I was amazed how easy it was to setup.
