This set is beautiful – used by schools, libraries and shopping centres. The King is 24″ high and the pieces are very strong. The kids love them!
They are supplied in 2 big boxes and the freight to anywhere in Australia is $100
The pieces need a board and you can simply use tiles in the garden, these sets look gorgeous in the right setting. Simply remember you must have a white square in the right hand corner when you put them down, and try to pick a spot with shade and not have one player having the sun in his/her eyes.
We do supply black and white tiles specifically for them and they are similar to those used in commercial kitchens and the box of tiles costs $120. The pieces lock together and provided you don’t need to move the board too much, work perfectly with the big pieces.
