Adelaide’s Vegan Festival

Come and join Knights & Bytes at the Vegan Festival on Saturday 30th October and Sunday 31st October 2021!
We will have lots of chess happening and juniors under 14 are able to enter free.
There will be ‘learn to play‘ sessions for beginners – adults and juniors as well as Simultaneous Displays against all-comers by some of our leading players including this year’s State Champion Bill Jordan and former Champions: Women FIDE Master Giang Nguyen and Alan Goldsmith.
Giang will be playing a simul against any girls who show up on Sunday afternoon and it should be enormous fun.
There will also be lightning games and a dress-up event where the kids can come dressed as their favourite piece.
The Vegan Festival Adelaide is an annual celebration in the heart of the city.

Well, at this year’s Vegan Festival, we cater for both.
The two days will be packed with live performances, guest keynote speakers, children’s entertainment, cooking demonstrations and over 70 stalls with fabulous food, merchandise and information.
The Vegan Festival Adelaide is an outdoor educational, family friendly community event which aims to stimulate awareness by bringing environmental, health, lifestyle and cruelty free issues into the public eye.
